You can increase or decrease your trading power at any time.

Increase your trading power

If you wish to increase your trading power, you will need to have the minimum amount of funds required in your margin account for the trading power you wish to select. To see the minimum amount of funds required, check out this article.

To increase your trading power:

  1. Click on ‘Trading Power’ in the side menu of your Quantfury app, or in the main menu of the Quantfury web version;

  2. Click on the trading power you wish to have, or use ‘+’ or ‘-’ buttons to navigate the trading power selection slider. The minimum margin account balance will be displayed to you;

  3. If your margin account balance is sufficient to increase the trading power to the amount you selected, you will be prompted to confirm the trading power selection. If your margin account balance is not sufficient, you will be prompted to transfer the minimum amount of funds required from your spot wallet. Once the funds are transferred to the margin account successfully, confirm the trading power selection;

  4. The trading power you selected will become available to you instantly.

Decrease your trading power

If you wish to decrease your trading power, you will need to ensure that the size of your open positions is not greater than the trading power you wish to decrease to.

For example, if you currently have a trading power of $20,000 and you have open positions that total $15,000, you will not be able to decrease your trading power to $10,000 since the size of your open positions exceed the trading power amount you wish to decrease to.

To decrease your trading power:

  1. Click on ‘Trading Power’ in the side menu of your Quantfury app, or in the main menu of the Quantfury web version;

  2. Click on the trading power you wish to have, or use ‘+’ or ‘-’ buttons to navigate the trading power selection slider;

  3. Confirm the trading power selection;

  4. The trading power you selected will become available to you instantly.
